New Covenant Church in Savannah, Ga., held its annual Youth and Education Day on May 20, 2017. The speaker for the day was Andrew Taylor, student body president at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Ala. Taylor reminded the youth and congregation about the “Benefits of Commitment” to God. He dealt with the benefits of the Holy Spirit, the benefits of being a miracle, the benefits of being extraordinary, and the benefits of being resilient. Savannah’s own Ramah Junior Academy Choir blessed the congregation with two selections, and the Powerful Praise gsigning group from the West End Church in Atlanta, Ga., ministered during the service, and concluded the day with an afternoon concert. Everyone left encouraged and newly committed to Christ.
