The Carolina Conference literature evangelists met at the University City Church on October 8, 2017, to learn and improve their door-to-door approaches. Lance Morrison, Carolina Conference publishing director, was assisted by one of Carolina’s full-time literature evangelists (LE), Tad Stauffer. Stauffer has been the number one LE in the Southern Union for the last two years in sales and contacts. Stauffer demonstrated two approaches for both health and children books.
This training event was leading up to the South Carolina State Fair in Spartanburg, S.C., where the Carolina LEs would have a booth for the purpose of sharing literature. One method of attracting families to their booth will be to provide balloon animals for the children. As they create the animals, they can converse with the families. At this training event, the LEs practiced twisting the balloons into animals and objects to help prepare for the upcoming week and weekend.
If you are interested in becoming a full- or part-time literature evangelist, contact your local conference.
