The Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists launched a massive “Lord Transform Me” evangelistic initiative across many of its territories, including the Atlantic Caribbean Union from February 2 to 9, 2019.
The four fields in the Atlantic Caribbean Union, South Bahamas, North Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the Cayman Islands Conference, have fully engaged in the preaching of the Gospel in campaigns ranging from one to three weeks.
Members in the Cayman Islands are thankful and excited to have three pastors from the Southeastern Conference in Mt. Dora, Fla., to preach at three of the seven evangelistic sites.
Prince Lewis, pastor, preached at the George Town Church following the ministry of John Bradshaw, It Is Written speaker/director. Thirteen individuals were baptized in that effort. Derrick Moffett, pastor, preached at the Kings Church, where nine individuals were baptized, and another baptism is planned. Roger Alvarez, pastor, preached at the Filidelfia Church, where 11 individuals were baptized, and another baptism is also planned.
The Cayman Islands Conference administration expressed gratitude to the Southeastern Conference administration for sending three pastors to their field to help lead men and women into a saving relationship with Christ. They trust that the relationship and collaboration will be strengthened in years to come.
