Have you ever been to Oshkosh? It’s where you can meet different pathfinders all over the world and trade pins! It can help change people’s lives for the better good of themselves.
It all started at my church in Birmingham, Alabama 2019.My Pathfinder director Mr. Jones kept talking about this thing called Oshkosh. I didn’t know what it was called before. Everyone around me kept talking about how fun it is going to be. In order to go you need a ticket that would cost six-hundred dollars plus my clothes and things. So I ended up going. We left that Friday evening and we were on the road for like 16 hours until the next day.
When we got to Wisconsin we went to Cracker Barrel and got breakfast. The campsite was an hour and five minutes away. We pulled up to our campsite and unpacked and set the tents up. Throughout the week we went on a compassion walk to help pray for people who were in need. As we were walking by we saw this lady in her yard. She was gardening and she was telling us how her daughter died of leukemia at age fourteen. We were able to pray for her and she also said she had like four surgeries. I was happy that we could pray for her lost daughter. I hope that we can still pray for people and help them get closer to the lord.
