My name is Shelby and I am 11 years old in 6th grade. I was excited about coming to Oshkosh! It was a long drive here and took us 14 hours of driving which we broke up into 2 days.
The things I have enjoyed most in Oshkosh has been trading pins and meeting people from different countries. In the evenings, the program was fun. My mom, and some friends and I ran with the flags at the beginning in the front with all the music. This was really fun!We sat in the front row for 5.5 hours to get a front row seat.
I got the braiding honor and the flag honor. Also, I enjoyed the games. One person told me they saw a friend that they haven’t seen in 7 years. Another person told me they got to go ice skating.
Overall, I enjoyed most, sitting and worshiping God in the evening programs with my friends and watching plays and watching the dancers and singers.
