Coming to Oshkosh was great. We stayed overnight in Chicago and toured the city a bit. We saw other pathfinder groups on the way here and ate some delicious food.
When we arrived at Oshkosh I was excited to set up camp, get started, and just have fun. I started trading pins and tried to get better pins and meet new people. It was a little hard to build up courage and start talking to people at first but I easily picked it up and had fun.
I got several honors done like Canoe Building and Pin Trading and had fun trying Knife and Hatchet Throwing and meeting new people.
I did start getting tired and a little exhausted from walking long distances all the time and making sure not to get lost but I kept pushing through and decided to make the most out of what I had and be positive.
I met a lot of nice people and got closer with my friends in my pathfinder group. I am thankful for this experience and will definitely look forward to hopefully coming back next Oshkosh.
