Early this past January, the Home Health Education Service literature evangelists gathered in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., to celebrate God’s success in circulating the printed page during 2019. Four conferences participated: Carolina, Georgia-Cumberland, Gulf States, and Kentucky-Tennessee. There was fellowship with one another as many literature evangelists from the participating conferences rekindled their friendship and camaraderie with each other. It was also very exciting for them to see the many new faces of those joining the literature ministry.
Morning and evening devotionals given by various publishing directors set the tone for the weekend. The devotionals focused on a relationship with the Saviour, and renewing commitments to the publishing ministry. The blessings were without number. The guest speakers were Dwight Hall from Remnant Publications, and Ed Wright, former president of Georgia-Cumberland Conference.
This year, the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference has two joining the publishing ministry, Ivan Martinez and Zane Williams. Martinez will be joining as the youth outreach coordinator. He will aid in the advancement of the student Magabook ministry with Rocky Davis. Martinez and Davis will be providing fundraising opportunities for church schools and academies, as well as recruiting and running a summertime Magabook evangelistic YOUTH SUMMIT team. Zane Williams will be joining as a fulltime literature evangelist working in the Murfreesboro, Tenn., district.
There are several districts with a need for fulltime literature evangelists in the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference. For more information about these opportunities, please contact the Conference Publishing Department. They are happy to provide information about the Heaven-ordained colporteur ministry. Many individuals throughout the Southern Union territory are providing a substantial income for their families, while being engaged in reaching souls for the Kingdom of God.
The Kentucky-Tennessee Conference asks for prayer for the literature evangelists and students who carry the invitation from Jesus door to door.
