Hope came to Apopka through the We All Have Hope evangelistic series recently presented at Apopka Church. The speaker for the meetings was Roger Hernandez, director of ministerial and evangelism for Southern Union Conference. More than 200 guests, including the mayor, attended the meetings during the weeklong series that saw lives changed and decisions made for Christ.
In addition to outstanding sermons and music presented by various Christian recording artists, the Church honored local legends with an award presentation each night. These local legends included AMIkids of Orlando, Good Neighbor Place, Loaves & Fishes, Harbor House of Central Orlando, Cornerstone Hospice, Apopka Pregnancy Care Center, and the Police Athletic League of Orlando. Special offerings exceeding $3,400 were collected to benefit these local ministries.
Hope continues to resonate from the meetings as individual Bible studies continue and members are added to the family of God.
