Imagine a Week of Prayer that not only featured someone speaking to the entire student body, but also kept the students engaged and actively involved in the message. That is exactly what students from Mount Pisgah Academy (MPA) did recently when they presented a Week of Prayer at Asheville-Pisgah Christian School (APCS).
Each day the MPA students focused on different characteristics of Jesus’ role in their lives: Friend, Teacher, Creator, Healer, and Savior. Various activities, such as Bible skits, Pictionary, play dough sculpting, snowball prayers, swimming, jumping songs, and a game called “Two Truths and a Lie,” reinforced the daily messages and helped the APCS students see Jesus as a real person who cares deeply for them.
APCS thanks Beth Grissom and her team of MPA students for leading their students in a wonderful and uplifting Week of Prayer experience!
