The Murfreesboro, Tenn., Church sponsored a booth at the Wilson County Fair in Lebanon, Tenn. Due to the success of last year’s booth, a larger booth was needed. This year, there were 1,120 books shared with the public, including but not limited to The Desire of Ages, The Great Controversy, and Steps to Christ. The books were presented to individuals who showed a sincere interest, and it was suggested that they read the book with their Bible. There were many blessings from the contacts, especially with young people.
The Pathfinder Club also had a booth where children’s literature and Pathfinder information was shared. Children were invited to paint pictures at the table as part of an example of an honor requirement. It was quite successful. Children would paint, and the parents would get a break to sit down, rest their feet, and receive Club information from the Pathfinder staff.
Murfreesboro members are looking forward to taking part in the Wilson County Fair in 2017, and once again sharing Jesus Christ, and they encourage other churches to make plans now for a booth in 2017 at their local fairs.
