More than 10 Hispanic churches got together for a Hispanic children’s ministries festival on October 28, 2017. During the occasion there were no adult guest speakers or adult singers. Everything was performed by the children and for the children. Young Luis Galvez preached the sermon for the festival.
Two children were baptized, and 22 more responded to an appeal from Efrain Poloche, South Atlantic Hispanic ministries coordinator. Lady Uribe coordinated the program, and John Newlove, pastor, emceed the event. The highlight of the occasion was when the father of the little boy who was baptized decided to go to the pool after Ismael Uribe, pastor, encouraged him to follow his son’s steps. Now the whole family are baptized members.
